After countless repetitions of boiling and simmering down, the level of the water fell significantly, which was probably why some people did not kept their thoughts to themselves or stop talking, despite the bubbling and crashing at the surface.

This short story retorts by arguing that fiction can come close to life, but cannot be it, and that the ¡°flaws¡± in fiction, which are the gap between fiction and life, lead people to examine the flaws in life. ¡°The Story of P.C.¡± redefines fiction and delves into the possible methodology for broadening the range of fiction. At the same time, it shows that fiction is a process and an outcome of the cultural limitations and spirit of the time expressed through the reading public.
