하루키의 소설 "1Q84"를 읽다가 궁금해져서 읽어봐야겠다고 생각해서 산 책..조지오웰의 "동물농장" 과 "1984"
예상대로 좋은 책들이다..
동물농장은 우화의 간결하지만 강렬한, 읽은 후에도 여운을 많이 남기며 작가에 대한 history를 찾아보게 만들었고.. 그 다음으로 읽은 "1984"는 깊이 있게 들어가며 "동물농장"이후의 인간의 미래세계를 보여주고 있다.. 암울하면서 나의 정체성을 잃어가는 세계, 누군가에 의해 조정당하고 사고하게 만들어지는 세계... 지금 내가 사는 현재의 어느 면들이 이 부분과 어느 정도 일맥상통하는 지를 고민하며 읽게 만들었다... 사실 뒷부분의 주인공의 brain wash 과정은 좀 이해하기 어려운 감이 없지 않았다... 

It's less interesting for me than I expected. It might be more interesting for boys(teenagers) than girls.
I bought this book in accordance with the recommendations by famous people such as Michael Bay and also the mention that it would be made into a movie. However my expectation was so high after I finished reading it. 
I haven't seen the movie yet and also I haven't decided to see the movie or not. 
The movie might be more exciting than the book because there are a lot of description for motions in detail. The very close description caused to me that it was boring and not much exciting. Also at the middle of the book, I felt the story was dragged with unnecessary details.
Anyway, the words in the book was not hard to read without the dictionary, so if you have any experience to read books in English before, you can enjoy it without pressure. 

도서관이란 무엇인가를 알게 해 준 책...
도서관의 순기능, 도서관을 중심에 둔 사람들의 삶을 잔잔하게 보여주는 책...
우리도 저런 작은 도서관들이 많이 있었으면 좋겠다...
Dewey와 Vicki Myron과 같은 사서들이 많았으면 좋겠다....
도서관 사서를 꿈꾸는 이들, 아이들과 책세상을 같이 하고 싶은 부모들이 읽었으면 좋겠다.
