I just love the Family & Friends series books for my smart 1st graders! The #3 is significantly harder than the #2, but most of my students were ready for more challenging work anyway, and the book has comic strips and many colorful pictures that totally attracted my young and smart students. I would highly recommend this book to any ESL teacher who has smart, fast learning ESL students who get easily bored with other existing ESL textbooks.

 

This book also covers all four parts of ESL lessons - grammar, reading, writing, and speaking, which makes it so much easier to prepare for classes. I am so happy with Family & Friends!

This book is a wonderful textbook for beginner level EFL students. I use this book for adult students but it can be used for teenagers as well. Every chapter is very easy to digest for students who have very little communication English communication skills. There are plenty of activities in between grammatical points, which help keep students engaged in the lesson.

 

One thing I didn't know when I bought this one was that the CD ROM with this book does NOT have all tracks shown in the book. I ended up buying a full version edition.
