University of Denver의 Daniels College of Business의 Department of Information Technology에서 교편을 잡고 있다. 그녀는 Bowling Green State University에서 MIS/Accounting 전공으로 B.S.B.A. 학위를 받았으며, University of Denver에서 MIS 전공으로 M.B.A. 학위를 받았다. 그녀는 Business Driven Technology, I-Series를 비롯한 다수의 저서의 공동 저자이며, Management Information Systems for the Information Age의 저술에 기여하였다. 1999년에 Daniels College의 교수가 되기 전에는 대형 정보통신 회사와 국제적 컨설팅 회사에 수년간 근무하였다. 컨설팅 회사에서는 미국과 남아프리카공화국, 그리고 유럽의 고객과 공동으로 작업하였다.
