The Student's Book with CD-ROM contains eight units with developmentally appropriate and fun theme-related activities. The eight Show Time sections help students keep track of what they are learning in preparation for a final, end-of-year show. New Big Fun presents target language in context. Theme-related Little Books promote children’s interest in reading and provide an important home-school connection. A math curriculum presents numbers 1-5 in Level 1, 1-20 in Level 2, and 1- 100 in Level 3. The Amazing Nature segment allows students to explore the natural world, with a hands-on project to extend this learning.

The Workbook with Audio CD recycle vocabulary and language structures to reinforce Student Book lessons. Songs, chants and the Little Book stories are for students to practice and share at home.

The Teacher’s Edition contains full-size Student Book pages and provides step by-step lesson plans. The first two pages of each unit give an overview of content covered and materials needed. The lessons follow a three-step plan: Before, During, and After using the page. The Teacher’s Edition contains letters to parents explaining what the children are learning in each unit.

The NEW Active Teach interactive whiteboard(IWB) software and an Online Learning Center and assessment program support teachers and students in and out of class and provide parents the opportunity to engage and track their child's learning progress.

The Big Book topics relate to the themes found in each level of the Student books. With repetition of key vocabulary found in the units of the student books, children have plenty of opportunities to hear and practice core words. In addition, the values found in the Student books are also repeated within the Big Books - that way students can relate better to what they are seeing.
