책소개
IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) is a network architecture that delivers multimedia services, including internet content to mobile devices. Taking the best principles of wireless and IP networks, IMS offers a single platform that can interface with the many that currently exist across various networks. As converged networks become a reality and mobile users demand more rich media services, this backbone is essential to creating highly-reliable cost-effective networks. The goal of this book is to present the reader with the fundamentals of IMS in order to engineer a product incorporating the IMS architecture and make that a reality.
