Finger Phonics from Jolly Learning is ideal for teaching students the different sounds found in the English language. The Jolly Phonics approach teaches students the sounds of English, instead of just the letters of the alphabet. Finger Phonics books introduce young learners to these sounds
through illustrations and "actions", which help children recall each sound.
Finger Phonics is truly a multi-sensory learning experience! Each sound features a cut out page that children can trace with their fingers, helping them learn correct letter formation. Finger Phonics books are great for early language arts learning! Jolly Phonics introduces students to the sounds of the English language in groups of six.
Finger Phonics Book 5 deals with the sounds: z, w, ng, v, 00, oo.

The Finger Phonics books give an excellent start to both reading and writing.
The books show all the letter sounds of English, not just the alphabet, with an 'action' for each. There are cut-out letter shapes to show little fingers the correct way from each letter and at the end of each book are 'finger activities' so that knowing the letters leads easily to both reading and spelling.
[Jolly Phonics]
Beside the Finger Phonics books, 'Jolly Phonics includes Phonics Videos, The Phonics Handbook, Phonics Wall Frieze, Phonics Workbooks, Jiglets and Stencilets. Where possible, use them together over a period of time.
