For learners who first encountered the 3D CAD/CAM system, there were many learners who drew CAD, forgetting the basic laws and principles of design that were really important in learning how to use each detailed tool, so they designed it for design, not for production. Also, it was only when the production began that we saw quite a few learners who had to discover and recognize the various problems of CAD designed by the learners and correct them from the beginning. Using the NX program widely used by schools, government offices, and research institutes, the contents of CAD to CAM were included, and in line with the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, efforts were made to become basic guidelines for fostering the core operating personnel of smart factory.
The contents of Chapters 1 through 4 include the use of simple 3D CAD, and Chapter 5 contains the modeling parts developed using different modelling. In addition, the contents of Chapters 6 through 7 cover the basis of the technology that can redesign and produce real models based on the previous chapters, categorizing existing products one by one under the theme of reverse engineering, and recreating new products. Subsequently, the 2D/3D CAM was further selected and included.
