특징적인 것은 1학년 아이들 책과 겹치는 책이 꽤 된다는 것과
If I give a..시리즈네요. 동물을 주인공으로 해서 아이들에게 친근감을 주면서 주위 일상의 일들과 일상에서 쓰이는 말들, 단어들을 자연스럽게 배울 수 있도록 유도하는 책들이에요.
또한 ready to read 책들을 접해서 차차 챕터북으로 나가는데 적응할 수 있도록 해주고요^^

미국 아이들이 가장 많이 읽은 책을 학년별로 정리해 보았어요~^^
1학년생들 만 6~7세 미국 아이들이 가장 많이 읽은 책으로는 역시 동화책이 가장 많았고요.
그 중에 많은 책들이 노부영(노래 부르는 영어)로 제작되어 아이들이 언어와 동시에
리듬감과 감수성까지 키울 수 있도록 해주었습니다.

<7학년(중학교 1학년)>
