Everyone in his class had to choose a survey question.
Marvin was supposed to ask classmates a question and write down the answers, and then the results would be buried in a time capule which would be dug up in 50 years. That's why Marvin wanted to think of a special question.
At recess of that day, Marvin beat Clarence at wall-ball as the ball bounced off the wall and over the line.
Marvin won.
But Clarence said he won and Marvin was picking his nose at the moment.
Everybody laughed at him, even his best friends, Nick and Stuart. Marvin thought if they were true friends, they would have stuck up for him.

The more he talked about it, the more the other kids teased him about it.
and the more they teased him, the more he kept talking about it.
I am so sorry and worry about this situation that somebody stronger and bigger could make a weak boy foolish because he wanted to cover his fault

Nick and Stuart said " If we said Marvin were our best friend, everyone would think we picked our nose too."
That is to say, they are not true friends for Marvin.
I find this situation wrong because sometimes kids are devils with no purpose, and it will get worse and worse.
Marvin felt a sense of betrayal at them and they didn't want to play with Marvin who felt lonelier and lonelier at school and at home.

Mrs. North handed out report cards. His grades weren't too bad. He got only one Unsatisfactory subject. But there were Mrs. North's horrible comments. After reading the report card, Marvin cried during class.
As soon as Marvin walked home from school, he got in a fight with Linzy. He was afraid to show the comments to his parents and felt himself start to cry, sniffling and sniffling. Then he sank even lower.
Finally, he didn't realize what he was doing...
Marvin picked his nose...

He told them what happened from wall-ball game until his report cards.
Marvin wanted to receive some advice that he should have to do from his smart parents.
However it was another person. Precisely, Linzy came up with the solution.
Everybody picked his or her nose, even President and Mrs. North.
He knew what question he'd ask for the class survey report.
After recess Marvin was ready to give his report. He stood at the front of the room. Marvin asked everyone the question-Have you ever picked your nose? Every kid laughed when Marvin said Yes.
In summary, everybody piced their nose, except Clarence.
As you know, I also picked my nose. Is it sure Clarence have never picked his nose?
After this survey, Marvin returned into his place. Of course, everyone in Marvin's class said tClarence is a liar.
