     This story takes place in Skandia. Ragnak is a very important character because he is oberjarl of the skandians. His son, named Gronel, died in a war. He is a very violent man. Other people respect and fear him at the same time. His assistant is named Erak.

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning of the story, Halt and Horace got challanged by a freelance knight. Halt thought that they were dead. However, Horace defeated the knight. In the middle of the story, Erak secretly let Will and Evalyn out of Skandian. After 3 weeks of searching, Halt and Horace found Will and Evalyn finally. Then Halt said to Will how Horace defeated Morgarath. Then they start off to Arulean. In the end of the story, Erak is in a meeting with Ragnak....

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     Absolutely, it’s ’5.’ I would strongly recommend this book to people who like war.
