"I want to go in a hole!" My little brother said suddenly in Korean. I was at the beach somewhere near the easterncoast of Korea and was plain bored. When my five-year old little brother said that casually like he didn’t mean it, it gave me a sneaky yet interesting idea. I should dig a hole and trap him in it! It will satisfy both me and my brother by giving me something amusing to do and making my brother’s wish come true.
I got my digging hands ready. Then I started burrowing. For the first 30 minutes, it went great even though a wall occasionally collapsed. My hole was about 1.5ft deep. All at once, an unexpected problem occurre. Bucause my brother was so excited, he jumped in the hole too hard and annihilted 2 wall sections and lauged. That made the hole 0.5ft shallower. I yelled at him for making he hole smaller and kept burrowing downward.
For the next 1 hour, I dug the hole deeper and also wider. Now my rathr extensive hole was 2ft deep and 3ft wide and readyfor trapping. When I saw it complete, my spirts soared. Now all that was left to do was to cover the hole. I looked around at my surroundings, thinking about how I should camouflage my hole with its background. So I got some seaweed and effectively covered my hole. My brother, who was playing somewhere else, came running and dropped straight into the hole. When he fell into the pit, he was surprised nd pleased at the same time.
"Where is your little brother?” My dad asked nervously, a little later. I led him to my hole. When my dad saw my brother, he laughed. By the end of the day, all three of us were happy. My brother’s meaningless phrase made my time at the beach an unforgettable day. Maybe I should do that again sometime and next time my brother should trap me in a hole.
