This novel makes a ridiculous comparison between stupid farmers and a fantastic fox.

The comparison is too extreme for me to regard it normal although the basic story is very simple.

There is a smart fox which has a family of Mrs. Fox and four small foxes. It used to steal(can’t think another optimal word) stuff belonged to three farmers. Three farmers are Boggis, Bunce and Bean. They are unique and have a specific character respectively. Boggis is a chicken farmer who is very fat. Bunce is a duck and goose farmer who is a kind of pot-bellied dwarf. Bean is a turkey and apple farmer who never eat any food at all except gallons of strong cider.

They were too much stressed due to the fox and one day they decided to catch the fox. They dug the ground where the fox lived and the fox also dug to escape. That was a desperate race and after three days they decided to make the fox family starve to death. And the fantastic fox did his best to get food and made a route underground to the storeplace of three farmers.

The story is very simple and ridiculous. You may smile at the brilliant act of the fox and the stupid behavior of the farmers.
