The story itself was fun but it was so badly translated.

Having read some good books with wonderful translation, it was such a pain to read a book with typos and bad translations.

 

It was clear that the publisher tried their best to squeeze out all they could from the book. The lettering was large and the book, which did not necessarily have to be so thick, was made out to be thick on purpose.

 

What would have been just one book where it was originally published, the publisher turned into two books. In doing so, the book ended up with the appearance of those cheap third-class storybooks.

 

Ignoring those typos and bad translations, the book had some good qualities. It was based on reality and all the historical facts were researched so that the story can fit into it.

 

All in all, it was easy to read and could make a very good light-reading book. But if you are looking for something more serious and worth your penny, it certainly was not it.
