It was certainly one of books that I struggled most to keep on reading. Perhaps, the book might have been more readable had I read the original, English version. However, the pun and humours were lost in the translated version. It was a pure torture to continue reading the book and I had no choice but to put it down.

It seems I was not the only one who struggled. Most of the members of my book club also suffered the same. After this book, they all grew very picky in choosing the next book to read.

It was not just the boring, convoluted, long phrasing that made it so difficult to read this book. It was the dryness of the writing style too. Reading the book feels almost as if I were listening a drunk, oldman who keeps on going on and on and on purposelessly. Some may still enjoy the book and appreciate the writer but I do not seem to be one of them.
