I began buying babies' and children's books

even before my niece was born.

Now she is 7 month-old and is learning to play with her books.

Pretty soon, she will learn to read them, letter by letter, word by word.

 

So far, she is responding to the sound and feeling of the playbooks.

She likes to flap the pages or shake the books.

It is a good thing the pages are not sharp or her pretty little fingers and palms might have gotten deep papercuts.

The book is safe for babies who are too young to pick it up or smart enough not to hurt themselves with it.

 

My niece, she is a little too young to pick up the book so she cannot do any damange to herself. I hope, by the time she is strong enough to pick it up, she will be smart enough not to hurt herself with it.
