First
Ms. Frizzle gets a letter which is holding tickets for a whale watch(from Captain Gill, who's an old friend of Ms. Frizzle). Before they go, they learn about whales in a book

Second
They go to Captain Gill, but they get bad news. Captain Gill's boat had smashed. So Ms. Frizzle drive the magic school bus into the sea, and luckly Ms. Frizzle turns the bus to a boat(and later the boat turns to a submarine to see the whale better). And they dive in.

Third
They see a whale. Then, Ms. Frizzle wants to show class the whale more closely. So she shows the class 4 mini-subs. She allows them to ride the mini-subs for twenty minutes. But a killer whale messes up the mini-subs. The forth sub goes father away than others.

Tnen
Then the kids in the first, second and third mini-subs get resqued. The forth mini-sub sees a right whale(the most endangered whale), and weirdly to lead the forth mini-sub to land. But before they reach the land, Ms. Frizzle find them and they go home.

Finally
the next day, Ms. Frizzle tells the class they are going to raise money to help a whale. They have to choose the whale. They choose a right whale. The End.
