꼬마가 제법 어려운 뉴베리에 처음 도전한 책이다. 고양이가 주인공인지라 다행히 도전이 성공했다. 리딩레벨은 5점대 후반으로 잡혀 있다.

This story takes place in a farm. 
The charactors are Whittington(a cat), Ben and Abby(Human child), Lady(a duck), some chickens, 2 horses and rats.

3. Briefly summarize the main event of the story
Whittington(a cat) was thrown out by his last masters. So he goes looking for a new home. On the way Whittington meets Lady(it is duck’s name). Lady lives a farm. And the farm’s animals want Whittington to catch rats which bother them. So Whittington can live in the farm. Whittington tells about his ancestor, and how his ancestor aronnd the world. 
The animals and Ben’s elder sister Abby teach Ben how to read.

4.On a scale of one to five, how would I compare to others I have read.
I give this book 5 point. It is a very fun and interseting book.
