One day Neligan went into town.
¾î´À ³¯ ³Ú¸®°ÇÀº ¸¶À»·Î µé¾î°¬¾î¿ä.
I was hot. I was dry.
³ ´õ¿ü¾î¿ä,³ ¸ñÀÌ ¸»¶ú¾î¿ä.
The sun shone in the sky.
žçÀº Çϴÿ¡¼ ºû³µ¾î¿ä.
Neligan's pig sat by Neligan's pond.
³Ú¸®°ÇÀÇ µÅÁö´Â ³Ú¸®°ÇÀÇ ¿¬¸ø°¡¿¡ ¾É¾Æ ÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.
The ducks went, "Quack!"
¿À¸®µéÀº ²Ð²Ð°Å·È¾î¿ä.
They were cool on thewater in Neligan's pond.
¿À¸®µéÀº ½Ã¿øÇÏ°Ô ³Ú¸®°ÇÀÇ ¿¬¸ø ¹°À§¿¡ ¶° ÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.
The pig gulped and gasped and looked at the water.
±× µÅÁö´Â ¿¬¸ø¹°À» ¹úÄÀ¹úÄÀ »ïÅ°°í Ç涱°Å¸®¸ç ±× ¹°À» ¹Ù¶óº¸°í ÀÖ¾ú¾î¿ä.
The ducks went, "Quck!"
¿À¸®µéÀº ²Ð²Ð°Å·È¾î¿ä.
She rose from the ground.
±×³à´Â(µÅÁö´Â)¶¥¿¡¼ ÀϾ¾î¿ä.
and turned round
and round stamping her trotters
±×³àÀÇ Æ®·ÎÅ͸¦ ¹ß·Î ÄçÄç°Å¸®¸ç
µ¹°í µ¹°í µ¹¾Ò¾î¿ä.
and twirling her tail and...splash!
²¿¸®¸¦ ºùºùµ¹¸®°í ÅÒº¡ÅÒº¡!
The ducks and the geese were splashed out of the pond.
¿À¸®µé°ú °ÅÀ§µéÀº ¿¬¸ø¿¡¼ ¹°À» Æ¢°Ô Çß¾î¿ä.
Which means, very loudly, "The pig's in the pond!"
±×°ÍÀº "µÅÁö°¡ ¿¬¸ø¿¡ µé¾î¿Ô¾î¿ä"¸¦ ¸Å¿ì Å©°Ô ¾Ë¸®´Â °ÍÀÌÁÒ.
The word spread about, above and beyond,
±× ¸»Àº À̸®Àú¸® »ç¹æÀ¸·Î ÀüÇØÁ³¾î¿ä.
"At Neligan's farm, the pig's in the pond!"
³Ú¸®°ÇÀÇ ³óÀå¿¡¼, ±× µÅÁö°¡ ¿¬¸ø¿¡ µé¾î°¬´ë¿ä!"
From the fields all around they came to see the pig in the pond at Neligan's farm.

And then....

Neligan came on his cart!
³Ú¸®°ÇÀº ±×ÀÇ ¸¶Â÷¸¦ Ÿ°í ¿Ô¾î¿ä.
Neligan looked at the pig in the pond.
³Ú¸®°ÇÀº ¿¬¸ø¼Ó¿¡ ÀÖ´Â µÅÁö¸¦ ¹Ù¶óº¸¾Ò¾î¿ä.
They all joined the pig in the pond!
±×µé ¸ðµÎ µÅÁö°¡ µé¾î°¡ÀÖ´Â ±× ¿¬¸ø¼ÓÀ¸·Î µé¾î°¬¾î¿ä!
And that was the story of Neligan's pig.
